Linda Sue Ashord || Obituary

Linda Sue Ashford, 70, of Brookston, Texas, went to her home in Glory to be with her # 1 love, Jesus Christ. Linda passed from this life on December 27, 2022.

Graveside services will be at the Pyles Cemetery in Direct, Texas on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.. Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to service at the cemetery.

Linda was born on Feb. 2, 1952 in Paris to A.C. Ballard and Irene Utz Ballard of Brookston, Tx. She was preceeded in death by her parents, daughters, Tracy Ashford & Stephena McFadden, brothers, Jerry Ballard, Clayton Ballard, Freddy Ballard and sister, Peggy Dickson.

Linda was employed at Coca Cola, K-Mart and St. Joseph Hospital of Paris,

She is survived by her son, Denny Ashford; sister, Brenda Gunn of Paris; brothers, Kenneth Ballard of Brookston,  Ricky Ballard and wife Rachel of Brookston, TX.; granddaughters, Heather Purcell and husband, Jonathan of Dallas and Cheyenne Parsons of Paris and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephew and friends.
