Children’s Advocacy Center of Paris 22nd Sweetheart Soiree set for Feb. 11, 2023 || Sponsored by Paris Air Conditioning
Every child deserves to grow up in an environment that is safe and free from harm. Sadly, child abuse is a harsh reality facing children here in Lamar and Red River counties. Officials at the Children’s Advocacy Center are fighting every day to bring awareness and action to these children whose carefree dreams have been stolen away.
The CAC provides critical services to child victims of abuse as they go through the criminal justice system. But, to fight child abuse, the center needs funds.
Their lone fundraiser is fast-approaching. Set for Feb. 11, 2023, the Sweetheart Soiree will begin at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m., at Love Civic Center. A live auction will begin at 8 p.m. and the silent auction will close at 10 p.m.
The gala event features dinner, dancing and live music provided by Mix Society.

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Paris (CAC) is a 501C-3 non-profit providing critical services children and their non-offending families need as they go through the criminal justice system. The CAC coordinates the investigation of the most severe cases of child abuse in our community by bringing together the professional agencies that investigate child abuse to form a multi-disciplinary team that collaborates and shares information so that the child’s best interests are kept in mind. Since 1999, the CAC of Paris has worked with local Law Enforcement, Child Protective Services, District Attorney’s Office, and Mental and Medical Health Providers to help heal and restore the lives of over 5,000 children.
