Boil Water Notice for the city of Clarksville || Sponsored by Power Jack Foundation Repair
Due to a main water break located at 1206 W Jackson, the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality has required the city of Clarksville Public Water System that all customers should boil their water prior to consumption, (e.g. drinking water, washing hands, brushing teeth, etc.). Seniors and children are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria.
The TCOEQ has issued the following directions. The water should be brought to a vigorous boil and then boiled for two minutes. In lieu of boiling, customers have the option of purchasing bottled water for consumption.
Once the boil notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will notify customers that will rescind the notice. If you have questions contact Samuel Higdon with the city of Clarksville at 903-706-1126. The city is currently making the necessary repairs to the water line and should have water restored to any who have been affected.
