Jimmy Gaylor, 84, lifetime Paris, Tx resident, died peacefully December 15, 2022, in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, Dec 21, 2022, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home in Paris, TX. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. He will be buried at DFW National Cemetery at a private ceremony.
Jim loved his country. He served in the United States Army as a helicopter mechanic from 1960-1963 and in the United States Army Reserve until 1966.
He loved his friends. Throughout his life Jim had many jobs and activities, but those he spoke of most fondly were times with his friends operating his music store or running wiring for local churches, shops, homes, and events.
Most of all, Jim loved his wife of 32 years, Holley. He devoted his later years to caring for her and was never seen too far from her side.
Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Holley Gaylor of Paris, TX and son William Gaylor of Norman, OK. He is survived by his daughter Amy Bell.
