Horizon House Warming Station to open next week

With colder temperatures expected next week, the warming station at Horizon House Transitional Shelter will be open Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.
All are welcome to stop by and warm up with fresh coffee. They’ll also have hot breakfast items available each day, and anyone that stops by can pick up one of their toiletry bags, bottled water, and even warm weather items, like beanies, gloves, scarves & blankets.
If you’d like to make a monetary donation to help them continue to provide a safe, warm space for those in need, checks can be mailed to p.o. box 714, Paris, TX 75461. Or, check out the square link on their Facebook page at Human Resources Council.
Items of need can also be donated and dropped off at 450 4th St SW. Items in need are, bottled water, ground coffee, soup packets, oatmeal packets, scarfs, beanies, socks, and gloves.
