Wassail Fest brewing up fun and prizes in downtown Paris || Sponsored by Paris Air Conditioning

What is Wassail? A beverage made from mulled cider ale, or wine and spices, drunk traditionally as an integral part of wassailing, an ancient English Yuletide drinking ritual, and salutation either involved in door-to-door charity-giving or used to ensure a good harvest the following year
The Paris Downtown Association invites everyone to downtown Paris, for an afternoon-friendly competition between participating shops on Saturday, Dec. 10 from 2 – 5 p.m.
Each shop will have its version of delicious wassail, and the public is asked to help nominate the 2022 Wassail Meister.
Stop into one of the shops listed below, grab a voting ballot then start your tasting journey. Taste 10 different wassails to be entered into a drawing for one of the 24 different prizes.
Following Wassail Fest, you can grab a bite at one of the local restaurants and get ready for Paris Area Arts Alliance Carriage rides and a movie on 1st ST SE between Lamar and Clarksville Streets sponsored by Health Care Express.
