Kim Kardashian and Kanye West settled their divorce Tuesday, and according to court documents, Ye will be paying $200k per month in child support payments to the reality star, Kim Kardashian.
The two will share joint custody of their four children and Ye’s payments to the reality star will begin on Dec. 1.
The two had a prenuptial agreement and agreed to divide all of their assets following their six-year marriage.
The two have been separated since Dec. 26 of 2020 and Kardashian filed the judgment for a dissolution of marriage on Feb. 19 of 2021. The two began dating in 2012 before having their first child in 2013. They got married in 2014 in Florence, Italy.
The documents stated, “Commencing December 1, 2022, Respondent (West) shall pay to Petitioner (Kardashian) as and for child support the sum of $200,000 per month. The child support shall be paid by wire transfer on the first day of each month to an account to be designated by Petitioner”
The couple will be splitting the cost for their 3 oldest children to attend private school as well as their private security costs. They will also be responsible for splitting the college expenses for all four of their children.
West is said to have fired two lawyers since the divorce filing. He sought the legal ability to question any new husband of Kim Kardashian’s under oath. This right was rejected by Judge Steve Cochran.
This settlement follows the controversy from antisemitic remarks and tweets West made in October. Had they not reached a settlement, there was a trial set for next month.
