Paris annual Christmas Tree lighting on Saturday || Nov. 19, 2022, 6 p.m.
Kick your holidays off with family and friends in downtown Paris for the annual lighting of the community Christmas tree on the plaza.
The festivities start at 4 p.m. The Paris Parks & Recreation Department will have Santa and Mrs. Claus on hand to hear all the children’s wish lists. You can also take photos with Ole Saint Nick.
There will be live music by local musicians and choirs, reindeer to pet, grab a hot chocolate and shop some of the downtown stores that are open late.
The tree officially lights at 6 p.m. This year’s tree is donated by Bratcher’s Nursery and decorated by friends of downtown. Following the holidays, the tree will be transplanted in one of the Paris parks.
