Janice Carol Arnold || Obituary

Janice Carol Arnold, age 73,  passed away at her residence after a long battle with lung cancer. She was received into our Lord God’s arms on Nov. 5, 2022.

Janice was born Feb. 6, 1949, to Dovie Brittain and Jack Herron. Although she was an only child, she had enough cousins that she never felt alone. Janice first married W. D. Wynn and had a son, Christopher Heath. Chris was her whole world and anything she did was for him. She married a second (final) time to Jody Arnold in June of 1995, and gained his family.

Janice enjoyed going on vacations, especially to the beach. She was previously employed by The Fish Fry and Cherry Street Manor. Janice loved a gathering of family and enjoyed keeping us all in line.

She was preceded in death by her parents her son, Chris, and four beloved aunts, Dorothy, Demp, Louise, and Elizabeth.

Survivors include stepdaughters, Shanna Hendricks & husband Kevin, Mandi Arnold, stepson, Shane Arnold & wife Linda along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and cousins.

The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church Paris on Friday, Nov. 11th from 4 – 6 p.m. The family requests that floral arrangements or gifts be handled by Chapman’s Florist.

Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
