More than a decade after her acquittal in the case of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee’s death, Casey Anthony will be featured in an upcoming docuseries. This case gripped and shocked the nation and remains unsolved.

The docuseries is expected to air on Peacock on Nov. 29 and will be three parts. “Casey Anthony: Where the Truth Lies” features a now 36-year-old Casey Anthony for the first time in 11 years.

In a preview released by Peacock, a black screen reads, “In 2011, Casey Anthony was accused of murdering her daughter. She was found not guilty.” The 38-second view shows an aged Casey in an interview setting. Someone can be heard in the background asking, “Why talk to me now when you’re not getting creative control?”

Caylee was reported missing when her grandmother reported it to the police on July 15th after she was said to have been last seen on June 16. Initially, Casey Anthony was arrested for child neglect. Later, she was charged with more serious crimes such as first-degree murder following the discovery of Caylee’s remains on December 11.

Ultimately, Anthony was only found guilty of lying to law enforcement after 11 hours of jury deliberation. Anthony’s defense argued that Caylee’s death was an accidental drowning and that her death was covered up. It was argued by the prosecution that Anthony suffocated Caylee using chloroform before covering her mouth with duct tape.
