Local 15-year-old male suffers gunshot to the chest || shot fired outside the residence

At 8:03 p.m. on Nov. 6, 2022, Paris Police responded to shots fired in the 1400 block of Fitzhugh Ave. Upon arrival in the area, officers could hear females screaming from a residence.
According to Officer Curtis Garrett,” the officers found a 15-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his chest.”
The investigation led officers to believe that the shots were fired from outside the residence and penetrated through a window. The victim was transported to Paris Regional Medical Center where he was later flown to a Dallas area hospital for treatment. The investigation continues.
