Man shot in the leg after allegedly breaking down apartment resident’s door

A man was shot at an apartment complex and taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon in Paris.
The incident transpired in the 1200 block of NE 20th St. at 1:40 p.m.
Paris police department officers stated that they found the 19-year-old man in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to his leg.
A 21-year-old man had told police that he shot the 19-year-old for kicking in the front door of his apartment, according to law enforcement.
The 19-year-old man was in stable condition and was admitted to the Paris Regional Medical center for observation.
The incident is still under investigation as no arrests have been made.
