Rose June Nard Simpson, 86 of Paris, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

A graveside service has been set for Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Tabor Cemetery with Chaplain Rusty officiating.  The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

Rose was born in Sherwood, Texas on June 17, 1936 to Carl D. and Nora Sweptston Nard.

She is survived by her children, Jim Beeson and wife Claudia of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Mike Beeson of Amarillo, Texas and Myrtle Parnell of Paris; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Carl Nard of New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Simpson; son, Bobby Beeson; brother, Leonard Nard; sisters, Mary VanZandt, Ada CarneyLouise Waldron, Dorothy Peace and JoAnn Weaver; son-in-law, Earl Parnell,

The family requests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s or Dementia Associations.
