Paris Police responded to PRMC ER at 3:29 A.M. on October 6, 2022, to meet with the victim of an aggravated assault. Officers spoke with a 26-year-old Paris man who reported that he had been in the 500 block of E Houston St and had a verbal altercation with a 68-year-old man. The 68-year-old man then struck the victim in the leg with a square stick that had drywall screws sticking out of it. The incident is under investigation. 

Paris Police responded to 81 calls for service and arrested 2 persons on October 5, 2022.
