Meals on Wheels Lamar County to host volunteer event on Sept. 29

Meals On Wheels Lamar County is in need of volunteers to deliver meals. “A delivery volunteer can deliver as little as twice a month, delivery takes less than an hour and can be done on your lunch break. In fact, several routes can be delivered in as little as 30 minutes,” said Shelly Braziel, Executive Director.
South Main Iron is hosting a volunteer drive Thursday, Sept. 29 from 4 – 6 p.m. Stop by, grab a hot dog, and learn about our volunteer opportunities. You can complete an application while you’re there, or grab one to take home.
This is a free event open to the public and there will be door prizes. Sound Main Iron is located at 255 1st St SW in Paris.
