Peter Klassen || Obituary

Peter Klassen, 70, of Sumner, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 23, 2022, while in the care of his wife and children at home. He was born April 9, 1952, to Johann and Elizabeth (Neufeld) Klassen in Col.Alvaro Obregon, Mexico. 

Peter is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Maria (Klassen) Wiebe, his sister Helena (Klassen) Krahn, and his two infant siblings. He is survived by his five brothers: Herman, John, Henry, Dave, and Neil Klassen. He has left behind his dear wife, Anne, of 42 years, as well as their two children, Nicole Gillis along with her husband Jason, and Greg Klassen along with his wife Bethany, and their children: David, Madeline, Aletheia, Paul, Anastasia and Johann Gillis; and Lucy, Dahlia, Alice, Elizabeth, Maisie and Stella Klassen.  

A visitation for Peter will be held Monday, September 26, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, 3100 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas 75460. A funeral service will occur Monday, September 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., 3100 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas 75460. An interment will occur Monday, September 26, 2022, at Mt Tabor Cemetery, FM 1499, Paris, Texas 75462. Bright-Holland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
