Paris PD investigate criminal mischief case

Paris Police officers responded to a criminal mischief call in the 1700 block of N Main St at 12:48 a.m. on Sept. 25. Officers spoke with three victims who reported that their vehicle windows had been damaged by someone.
“The victims reported that they had been in an altercation with another person approximately 30 minutes prior to discovering the broken windows. All three advised that they knew the person that they had been in the altercation with and the suspect left the scene after the conflict,” according to Officer Curtis Garrett.
One victim also reported that the cameras at his house had been tampered with and upon arrival at the residence, he found that someone had broken the windows to another vehicle in the driveway and damaged windows of the residence.
The victims estimated the total damage to the vehicles and house to be over $750.00 but less than $20,000. The incident is under investigation. If you have any information regarding this investigation, contact Curtis Garrett at 903-784-6688
