It’s become an annual tradition for many in the Northeast Texas area, and this year promises to be the best one yet. The Paris Balloon & Music Festival will happen Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, and run through Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at the fairgrounds in Paris.

The evening festivals, which will feature live music, a Kids Zone, tethered balloon rides, exotic animals petting zoo, paint competitions, food and market vendors, and a balloon glow (weather permitting) will happen Friday and Saturday. The morning flights are set for Sunday and Monday. Some of the vendors available this year include Kona Ice, Ramsey Corndogs, Johnson Hot Dogs and Cheese Curds, Big Foot Bob Monster BBQ, J&L Taco Listo, and Papa Murphy’s Pizza.

The evenings will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. both Friday and Saturday.

“The Paris Balloon and Music Association (501c3) is composed of volunteer board members that are committed to the enrichment of the arts in our community through artistic events, scholarships, and benefits,” officials said. “We hope you will join us in planning an exciting family event for Paris and Lamar County.”

The fairgrounds are at 570 E. Center Street in Paris.
