Paris Body Art Expo set to tattoo, pierce folks today through Sunday

The Paris Body Art Expo is set to tattoo and pierce those attending today through Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022. The expo kicks off at 11:30 a.m. at Love Civic Center and promises a weekend filled with tattoos, piercings, and amazing artwork.

“We are bringing together over 50 amazing artists for a fun weekend of tattoos, piercings, and amazing artwork,” officials said.

During the expo, officials will give away $1,200 worth of free tattoo money. Everyone who attends will receive two chances to win the prize, and winners will be drawn throughout the day – however, you must be present to win.

Prizes will also be given to those attending, as well as artists, for everything from best cover-up, to free-for-all, best-of-day, best-of-show, and more for work done at the expo.

Here’s the schedule:

• Friday – Doors open to the public at 11:30 a.m. Free-for-all categories judging starts at 7 p.m., and show categories judging starts immediately after. The expo ends the day at 11 p.m.
• Saturday – Doors open at 11 a.m. for the public. Judging for free-for-all categories starts at 6 p.m., and judging for show categories starts immediately after. The expo ends the day at 11 p.m.
• Sunday – Doors open to the public at 10 a.m. Judging for free-for-all categories starts at 5 p.m., and judging for show categories starts immediately after. The expo ends the day at 9 p.m.

“Come check out some of these talented men and women as they compete for tattoo awards and possibly even get your next tattoo,” officials said.
