Kathy Sue Ligon, 63 of Blossom, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, in Mt. Vernon, Texas.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

She was born in Clarksville, Texas on April 1, 1959, to J.D. and Dimple Thomas.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Heather Boyett; grandchildren, Dakota Wayne Boyett, Landon Geric; siblings, Angie Brown and husband Steven, Dewayne Wilson and wife Velea; nephews, James Wilson, Lesley Wilson and wife Sabrina; special aunt, Linda Daniels.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rickey Ligon; daughter, Jennifer Sanders.
