Chaparral Square Dancers do-si-do into town this September

For the 26th year, the Chaparral Square Dancers will do-si-do into Paris this September 1-3, 2022, at Love Civic Center. The public is invited to come watch and join in on the fun, said Tourism Director Becky Semple.

The Chamber of Commerce is now accepting donations from local businesses for door prizes to be given to the dancers.

“They spend the night, shop, dine out, fill up their many vehicles with gas, and bring in their signed receipts to put in a drawing for your door prizes given out at their party on Saturday night,” Semple said. “They love to come to Paris because of the wonderful welcome they receive from everyone.”

Those who wish to donate a door prize for the square dancers can call the Chamber/Visitor Center at 903-784-2501.

“We will pick it up or it can be dropped off at our office at 8 West Plaza downtown,” Semple added.
