Danny Moss

File: Submitted || Danny Moss

His journey began on September 28, 1977, in Sulphur Springs, TX with his parents, Richard and Mary Helen Weir Moss.  Danny grew up in Sulphur Springs, TX, and Phoenix, AZ, with his sister Dana Moss Waggoner.

Always ready for an “adventure” with his love of Planes, Trains, Cars, and Big Trucks since he was a little boy, he entered a career in the transportation industry as a CDL driver at the age of 20.  He traveled lanes all around the United States, mostly from the east coast to the west coast.  His favorite places were the beaches of California.

Danny’s infectious smile, mischievous twinkle in his blue eyes, and kind heart significantly impacted all who met him.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Richard Moss.  Danny is survived by his Daughter Madison Moss, Mother Mary Helen Weir Moss, Sister Dana Moss Waggoner, Grandmother Micki Moss, and Uncle Kenneth Moss of AZ.  Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends from Texas to California.  Also, Special Love Kelly Moss.

One of Danny’s favorite scriptures was 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, King James version:

For which cause we faint not; but through our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Danny’s favorite quote:  it’s all about Jesus.

His new journey began July 9, 2022.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held for family and friends on Saturday, July 23, at 1 pm, at The Church On The Rock, 909 Linda Dr, Daingerfield, TX  75638.
