Friday, July 1st

  • 6 p.m. at Blossom Community Park

Saturday, July 2nd

• Paris
  • Fourth of July parade at 10 a.m. starting at Lamar County Courthouse
• Detroit
  • VFD pancake breakfast at 7 a.m.
  • Detroit July 4th parade on the east side of the elementary school starting 10 a.m.
  • Barbecue cookoff with plates at $10 apiece
  • Fireworks at dark at the city park
• Roxton Ex-students
  • 4th of July parade at 10 a.m. with games to follow
  • Fireworks at the sports complex in Roxton at dark

Sunday, July 3rd

• Bonham
  • Lights Over Lake Bonham fireworks show
    • 9-10 p.m. at Lake Bonham Recreation Area

Monday, July 4th

• Talco
  • Fireworks show at Talco Community Park starting at 7 p.m.
    • Everything is free, including hot dogs, water, cotton candy, sno-cones, and giveaways
      • Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.
