Above normal temperatures will continue today (Thursday) with highs warming into the upper 90s to 103 degrees, with heat index values as high as 105 in some locations. A south to southeast wind will prevail between 5 and 10 mph. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms are possible generally east of the I-35 corridor. Lighting and gusty winds will be the primary hazards with any thunderstorms.
