Woman dead after accident on Loop 286

A woman is dead after an accident on Loop 286 on Tuesday.

Paris Police responded to a fatality accident in the 2800 block of NE Loop 286 at 10:41 A.M. on June 7, 2022.

A 58-year-old female, from Greenville, Texas, riding a 2017 Harley Davidson Trike, entered the 2800 block of NE Loop 286 from a private drive and lost control.

According to Curtis Garrett of the Paris Police Department, the woman on the Trike crossed both northbound lanes, the median, and then both southbound lanes. A 2017 Volvo struck the Trike as it crossed the outside lane of the southbound lanes.

The woman was ejected from the Trike. She was transported to PRMC and was later pronounced deceased.
