United Way of Lamar County offers Career Shadow Days

The United Way of Lamar County (UWLC) is launching its second summer of the Career Shadow Days program for Lamar County high school students.
UWLC Executive Director Jenny Wilson explains, “This is a great opportunity for a high school junior or senior to spend a day ‘shadowing’ a professional and learn more about that particular field and explore career options.”
Students and the professionals they choose to shadow will pick a day during the summer that works for both. Students can sign up for the program by emailing UWLC educational programming coordinator Sabrina Rosson at srossonuwlc@gmail.com. Professionals who would like to join the program can also email or call 903-784-6642.
