The Johnny Depp versus Amber Heard civil trial has concluded in Fairfax, Virginia.

The seven-person civil jury (five men, two women) has found in favor of Johnny Depp in the high-profile court case against Amber Heard. They found that he was in the right on all three counts brought by Depp’s legal team, awarding him $15 million in compensation. Heard’s countersuit was successful on one count and she was awarded $2 million.

Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard over an interview Heard gave insinuating abuse, which he claimed caused his career to suffer.  Amber Heard counter-sued Depp over his reactions to the interview, claiming defamation of character.
