Paris Sears to permanently close – again
File / Paris Sears
The Sears Hometown Store in Paris is set to close next month – for a second time. The news follows an announcement by headquarters that at least 71 stores across the nation will close by the end of June.
Situated at 3020 Clarksville Street, in the former Big Lots location, the Paris Sears was opened May of last year amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently, the store was listed as one of 71 to close this summer. Along with the announcement of its closure came the announcement of liquidation sales with discounts of up to 70 percent off of everything from major appliances to lawn and garden equipment. The sales will last through June 23, 2022.
