Open house set for Horizon House Transitional Shelter || Everyone invited

An open house has been set for the Horizon House Transitional Shelter from 5 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

“This is a come and go event where guests will have the opportunity to tour our amazing shelter, hear about volunteer opportunities, and learn about the programs and services we offer,” said Executive Director Shelly Braziel.

In the dining hall, those attending will enjoy refreshments and meet the Executive Director and Shelter Manager, as well as other staff and members of the board of directors. In the chapel, you can listen to one of our residents speak about their experience, and in the playroom, you’ll learn all the exciting things we have planned this year.

Braziel said the open house is open to all who are interested – from potential volunteers to individuals in need of assistance to donors and more.
