Dr. Jimmie Lynne Swift, 80, of Paris, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022, at his home.

Cremation is under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.

Dr. Swift, the son of Marvin Gerald Swift & Mildred Elizabeth King Swift, was born Jan. 24, 1942, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife & twin sons who died in an automobile accident in 1974.

He served eight years in the United States Air Force, being honorably discharged as a Captain.

Dr. Swift received his BS Degree from the University of Arkansas, his MS Degree from the University of Wyoming, and his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Paris.
