Paris Police responded to a burglary of a residence in the 300 block of NE 29th St at 10:21 A.M. on May 13, 2022. The victim reported that they had been away from the residence since the previous day and upon returning, found that someone had removed a window air-conditioner from a window to gain entry. The victim reported that numerous firearms had been removed from the house. The incident is under investigation.
Zavontavion Jaquan Flowers, 25, of Paris, was arrested at the Lamar County Probation Office on a felony probation violation warrant. Flowers is currently on probation for an assault of a family member with previous convictions. Flowers was booked and later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to shots fired call in the 300 block of E Price St at 1:13 A.M. on May 14, 2022. A victim reported that they had been asleep when they heard the shots. A bullet hole was found by the front door of the victim’s residence. No one was injured in the incident. The investigation continues.
Paris Police stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Bonham St at 8:20 P.M. on May 14, 2022 for a registration violation. A passenger in the vehicle, 20-year-old Glenix Shelbe Dunken, of Paris, was found to have two outstanding felony warrants out of Cass County, Texas charging him with theft of more than $2,500 but less than $30,000 and burglary of a building. Dunken was arrested and later placed in the Lamar County Jail.

Paris Police responded to a disturbance in the 200 block of NW 12th St at 10:07 A.M. on May 15, 2022. Officers located 29-year-old Camilla Miacalla Perry and found that she had an outstanding felony warrant out of Lamar County Sheriff’s Department that charged her with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Perry was arrested and later placed in the Lamar County Jail.

At 12:57 P.M. on May 15, 2022, Paris Police met with the victim of a theft in the 10 block of Lamar Ave. The victim reported that someone had stolen 5 antique light fixtures from the front of the building. The fixtures were valued at over $5,000. The investigation continues.
Paris police responded to a theft of a vehicle in the 100 block of W Center St at 6:03 P.M. on May 15, 2022. The victim reported that they had left their black Dodge Pick-up at their work location due to driving a work vehicle home and had left a key hidden in the vehicle. The vehicle was later located abandoned in the 100 block of E Center St. The victim reported that several tools were missing from the recovered vehicle. The incident is under investigation.
Paris Police responded to 201 calls for service and arrested 12 persons over the weekend ending at midnight on May 15, 2022.
