Police investigate after girl riding bike was hit by car that fled

Paris police are investigating after a 15-year-old girl riding a bicycle was hit by a car. The car fled the scene.

The incident happened shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the 800 block of Pine Bluff Street. According to Curtis Garrett of the Paris Police Department, the girl was crossing the street with her bike when she was struck by a four-door black Cadillac that then fled the scene.

“The victim was transported to PRMC for evaluation due to another medical condition,” Garrett said. “She was evaluated and later released.”
