Paris Police responded to the 400 block of W Sherman St at 7:46 P.M. on May 2, 2022, in reference to a theft of a vehicle. The victim reported that their 2019 silver Infinity  SUV was stolen sometime between 3:00 P.M. and 7:46 p.m.. The vehicle was located and recovered in Delta County at about 8:44 P.M.. The investigation continues. 

Paris Police made contact with 57-year-old Theresa Williams, of Paris, in the 400  block of SW 7th St at 11:59 P.M. on May 2, 2022, for walking in the middle of the street.  Williams was found to have an outstanding Lamar County felony warrant charging her with possession of a controlled substance. Williams was arrested and later placed in the Lamar  County Jail.
