Prairiland FFA students advance to state in Floriculture and Veterinary Science || Sponsored by Quality Care ER

Prairiland FFA judging teams competed at the Area VI CDE Contest held at TAMU-Commerce on April 12. The Floriculture and Vet Science teams advanced to state and will be competing this week. Floriculture will compete at Sam Houston State University and Vet Science will be competing at Texas A&M University.
The Floriculture Team placed 3rd place at Area out of 38 teams and is advancing to state. Joni Figueroa was 3rd high individual and Julianna Hamill was 8th high individual.
The Vet Science Team placed 3rd place at Area out of 41 teams and is advancing to state. Amber Rowland was 9th high individual.
