The highest rain/storm chances will be across Central Texas today. Lingering showers and thunderstorms across North Texas will slowly taper off by late this morning into early afternoon. A few strong thunderstorms cannot be ruled out across North Texas with gusty winds and small hail as the main threats. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible, but antecedent conditions may limit localized flooding impacts. Highs will range from the mid 60s to low 70s.
