Free Texas wildflower seed packets offered Saturday at Farmers Market

To help Lamar County residents celebrate Earth Day, several associations and businesses have partnered up to offer free Texas wildflower seed packets at the Paris Farmers Market on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

In a partnership between Keep Paris Beautiful/Make Lamar County Shine, Paris Garden & Study Club, Red River Texas Master Naturalists, and Campbell Soup Co., 500 free seed packets, or 20 pounds of wildflower seeds, will be given away – that’s enough to cover nearly 50,000-square feet of area.

Everyone is invited to come out and get their seed packet, while also talking with Master Naturalists about flowers and bees. The giveaway will begin at 10 a.m. at Market Square-Farmers Market Pavilion.
