Man arrested for shooting gun inside his apartment, bullet went into neighbor’s apartment

A local man was arrested over the weekend after police say he discharged a pistol three times inside of his apartment – one of the bullets went through the wall and entered his neighbor’s apartment. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Calls came in around 9 a.m. on April 16, 2022, for shots fired in the 1700 block of Hubbard Street.

“Officers made contact with Christian Montano,” said Curtis Garrett of the Paris Police Department. “He was found to have discharged a pistol three times inside of his apartment. One of the bullets passed through the walls and entered a neighboring apartment.”

Montano was arrested and charged with deadly conduct and placed in jail.
