A Mt. Pleasant business was busted today for reportedly having illegally obtained catalytic converters, according to police.
“A joint investigation between the Mount Pleasant Police Department and the Pittsburg Police Department led to the recovery of 28 catalytic converters from Rodarte’s Tire and Brakes at 906 West 1st Street in Mt. Pleasant,” police posted on social media.
On April 1, 2022, the investigation led to a business in MP. While on scene detectives were able to locate 28 illegally obtained catalytic converters. The catalytic converters were confiscated, and the investigation is ongoing.
“Great joint police work by the Pittsburg Police Department and the Mount Pleasant Police Department that led to this discovery,” officials said.
