Swap meet, car show starts Thursday

A car show/swap meet at Hunt County Fairgrounds will return Thursday and run through Saturday, April 2. Admission to the Greenville Swap Meet and Car Show is free and parking is $3. Vendor gates open each day at 6:30 a.m., while patrons are welcome 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Started by the Northeast Texas Region of the AACA in 2000, the number of vendors has grown from just a few to more than 350.
Those interested in registering for the car show can do so at 8 a.m. on Saturday for a $20 fee per car; voting starts at noon and awards will be presented at 2 p.m. There will be first- and second-place trophies given in 30 classes, as well as an award for Best of Show Car and Best of Show Truck.
