Several fundraisers, including a GoFundMe, a T-shirt sale, and a Cornhole Tournament, have been set for a two-year-old boy who was in a car wreck with his grandmother last Friday. His mother, Keylsie Filkins, said he is currently fighting for his life at a hospital in Dallas.
Tiggan Dean was taken by air ambulance to the hospital, where his mother said he is suffering from brain swelling. To help with these unexpected expenses, a GoFundMe has been started, as well as a T-shirt sale at Paris Print Works. Click here to view the GoFundMe or donate.
“He’s a fighter, but right now he needs us to be his voice and his fight and we won’t stop until we’ve done absolutely every single thing we can,” Keylsie said. “I’ve seen God work miracles, and I know he can do it for our baby boy.”
In addition, a Cornhole Tournament has been set for April 9 at the American Legion Post 199 in Deport. Event-goers can sign up for $40 per team on the day of the tournament, which will happen from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The tournament will also feature a silent auction, live music, T-shirt sales, and $10 burger plates to raise additional money. There will also be a gun raffle during the event.
“We’re going to keep fighting as hard as we possibly can for Tiggan because he deserves to be given that chance,” Keylsie said. “We have had so many wonderful people backing and supporting us through this nightmare, and we definitely wouldn’t know what to do without the prayers, support, and love from each individual that has been fighting alongside us for Tig.”
