Carlos Gomez, 66 of Reno, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Paris Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services have been set for Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home at 2:00 PM.  Cremation arrangements under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on October 28, 1955, to Juan Gomez and Santa Maria Garcia.

Carlos is survived by his wife, Kathryn M. Gomez; son, John J. Padilla; grandchildren, Desiree Garza, Kathryn Aguirre and husband Anthony, Juan Diego (JD) Valdez, Julian Padilla, Azia O. Tramel, Maximillian Arenas; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Gomez; sisters, Sylvia Montane, Diana Camp.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kathryn Vanessa Padilla; brothers, Juan Edwards, Jose, Hector, Roel and Ruben Gomez.
