Sky Athletics Cheerleading & Tumbling is building its forever home in Reno at 6590 Lamar Road.

The brainchild of Amanda Jackson, along with partner Skylar Burchinal, the pair have been in business for three years.

Sky Athletics is a cheerleading and tumbling training program for girls and boys ages three and up. The programs prepare students for high school cheerleading tryouts and competitions.

The company has been operating out of the Family Fun Center in Paris but is now planting roots in Reno to continue to grow their business.

“We really appreciate the athletes and parents for being so patient with us over these three years and now this facility is our gift to them,” said Jackson.

Sky Athletics also grooms athletes for their All-Star Teams. These teams travel and compete with other cheerleading teams from around the United States. Recently, at the NCA All-Star National Championship, the Falcons brought home their first championship win. On May 14, Sky Athletics will be conducting tryouts for the 2023 All-Star season. For more information call 903-706-5088.

The center will be open Monday through Thursday from 4 – 8 p.m.  The opening date for the new building is the summer of 2022.
