A local man turned himself in Wednesday evening after he said he set fire to five different places in Paris on Tuesday on purpose.

Cody Ryan Hallman, 32, confessed to being the arsonist, according to Paris police detectives. He was placed under arrest for the Felony Offense of Arson for each location and was later transferred to Lamar County Jail.

Reportedly, four of the five fires were started in the men’s restrooms at each location.
