Paris Independent School District officials are poised to cancel the May elections when board members meet tonight at 5:30 p.m. at the administration building, 1920 Clarksville Street.
According to records, there are no challengers for the Paris ISD Board of Trustees seats for election this year.
Cliff Kerby, a local dentist, is set to succeed Place 7 trustee Gordon Strom, who stepped down from his position this year.
