Scattered showers will be possible Sunday ahead of an approaching upper-level system. Expect breezy southerly winds and overcast skies through the morning hours. Thunderstorms may develop as early as Sunday afternoon with daytime heating. The main concern for strong to severe thunderstorms will be across parts of North Texas as a strong cold front approaches from the north. The main threat will be damaging wind gusts and hail. The cold front will sweep across the region Sunday night, exiting by Monday morning.
