Tickets, sponsorships for Mardi Gras gala still available

Tickets for tables and sponsorships are both available for this year’s Lamar County Human Resources Council Mardi Gras gala.

The most festive gala of the year will happen Friday, March 4, 2022, at Love Civic Center when doors open at 7 p.m.

Benefitting Meals on Wheels, Horizon House Transitional Shelter, and other support programs, this year will feature a traditional Cajun dinner, complimentary adult beverages, live music, and live auctions.

“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year,” said Lamar County Human Resources Council Executive Director Shelly Braziel. “It benefits our largest program, Meals on Wheels, but also benefits our four senior centers, Gifts of Love, and community resource programs like heaters, blankets, and fans.”

Individual tickets are $75 apiece and tables seat up to eight people.
