Tricia Johnson with the Lamar County Elections office said early voting may have to close due to the weather.
“I’m leaving that decision up to the county judge,” she said. “He’ll decide and let us know as soon as he makes the decision, and w will post to our Facebook page.”
Until a decision is made, early voting is open through Friday, Feb. 25, from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m.
As always, early voting is held at the County Services Building, courthouse annex at 231 Lamar Avenue.
