Howard Skaggs, 86, of Paris passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at his home. Funeral services will be held at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home at 3:00 pm Friday, February 25, 2022. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before service from 2 until 3 pm. 

Howard was born in Detroit, Texas a son of Lonnie and Frances Webb Skaggs on September 3, 1935. He married Kala (Gifford) Barnard September 21, 2001, in the home of Bro. Glenn Renfro. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in the tractor division as a trainer.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Skaggs; his son, Larry Buster, and 12 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife Kala Skaggs, daughter Debbie Johnson and husband Rick, step-children Shelly Barnard, Britt Barnard, and Kanda Barnard; granddaughter Abby Rogers and husband Jeremy and their sons Jackson, Houston, and Garrison; granddaughter Emily Hanley and husband Matt, their sons Silas and Simeon; Daughter-In-Law Jackie Buster;  his grandson Casey Buster and his great-grandson Justin; step-grandchildren McKenna Barnard, Seth Barnard, Ethan Barnard; special friends Carole Collett, Tanya and Amanda Pullen and numerous nieces and nephews.
