‘Acts of Kindness’ benefit set for Paris ISD police officer battling cancer || Kyle Martin

An “Acts of Kindness” benefit has been planned for a Paris ISD police officer who is currently battling cancer: Kyle Martin.
The benefit will feature events such as a chili cookoff, a live and silent auction, a dance show by Revive Dance Studio, and food trucks that evening.
The fun will happen Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Paris Junior High Theatre, 2300 Jefferson Road in Paris. A donation of at least $5 is requested to participate in the fun.
For those who can’t make it, or wish to give a little more, you may donate at First Federal Bank under the name “Kyle Martin Benefit,” or by PayPal under the name “KyleMartinBenefit@gmail.com.”
Times for events are as follows:
- Noon – 5 p.m., chili cookoff
- $25 to enter, with 1st-3rd-place trophies given, along with People’s Choice
- 5 – 7:30 p.m., silent auciton
- 6 – 7 p.m., 7:30 – 8:15 p.m., dance show by Revive
- 6 – 8:15 p.m., food trucks
- 7 – 7:30 p.m., live auction and announcement of chili cookoff awards
