REVENGE: Valentine’s Day deals you can partake in to get back at your ex

This Valentine’s Day, several places are offering you a chance to get back at that not-so-special someone. Here’s a list of what’s offered this year.

Hiss and tell

For a meager $10 donation, the Florida Aquarium will let you name a roach after an ex. Click here to try it.

“Name one of The Florida Aquarium’s hissing cockroaches after your ex or someone else who’s done you wrong! With your $10 donation, you’ll receive a commemorative certificate and photo of the cockroach.” the aquarium wrote online. “While we don’t ‘Hiss and Tell,’ you certainly can! Need to clear the air? Along with your donation, send along a message with words you wish you had said or your funny revenge confession! Amusing, family-friendly confessions will be posted with anonymity on The Florida Aquarium’s social media.  Don’t worry –we’ll never “Hiss & Tell” who sent them!”

Cry Me a Cockroach

The San Antonio Zoo will host its Cry Me a Cockroach fundraiser for the third year. All funds raised will go toward the zoo’s vision of securing a future for wildlife. Click here to try it.

“Back for its third year, San Antonio Zoo hosts its Cry Me a Cockroach Fundraiser, where funds raised support the zoo’s vision in securing a future for wildlife! This Valentine’s, join in the fun by donating to symbolically name a cockroach, rodent, or veggie after your ex-partner, boss, or bestie. Now here’s the best part…you then get to watch as we offer it up as a snack to some of the animals!

As a part of your donation, you will receive:

  • A customizable certificate showing your support for the Cry Me a Cockroach Fundraiser. Be sure to share the fun on social media with hashtag #CryMeACockroach and tag @SanAntonioZoo on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok!

  • An email with a video of a cockroach, rodent, or veggie being fed to an animal here at the zoo,” officials said.

Is your ex a piece of…?

If roaches aren’t your thing, the SPCA of Brevard is offering two options for a price of $5 each. Click here to try it.

“In honor of Valentine’s Day, for a donation of $5 or more, we have two options to celebrate your ex:

  • We can write your ex’s name on the bottom of a litter box and let our adorable, adoptable cats do what they will with it.
  • Or, we can write your ex’s name on a fire hydrant, placed in one of our loveable adoptable dogs play yards for when they need a potty break,” officials said.
